Our monthly, weekly, and daily encounters. I enjoy spending time with them. Reminiscing on days gone by with my own children, so what better way to keep track of these precious moments than an online blog that they can read later.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.comBlogger235125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-81280836882563531152020-01-26T14:56:00.002-08:002020-01-26T14:56:53.429-08:00<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">And the Family Continues to Grow!
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">We had an addition to our family, grandson number seven was born September 28, 2019. We are so blessed. I now have a total of eight grandsons and a goddaughter. However, I've added a few more that have become my grandchildren too. So if I count them all I have a total of eleven grandsons and two granddaughters; this includes my goddaughter. Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-4242010913525244722018-08-30T14:58:00.003-07:002018-08-30T15:02:00.853-07:00It's been awhile . . .Oh my! Time does fly. I haven't written anything in 9 months. My gems are getting older and growing like weeds. Everyone is a year older; at least five of them are. The sixth grandson will be two in November. My oldest granson's mom had a baby boy, so now he has three younger brothers. I now have a teenager, and a tween. I'm also a god mom now. My first girl in the bunch and she has a brother, so I have nine gems. I enjoy spending time with them all. I thank God for my beautiful, precious, gems.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-88082062018612732202017-11-09T18:17:00.002-08:002017-11-09T18:17:37.532-08:00Prayers going up . . .Yesterday my second oldest grandson KZ1 had same day surgery. He's recovering nicely; still in a little pain. Before you know it he'll be back to himself and all over the place. Yesterday, my youngest grandson turned a year old. Time really flies when you're watching them grow. I am so happy that S. P. is trying to walk.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-31451210050938337212017-09-20T09:29:00.002-07:002017-09-20T09:54:51.631-07:00It's been awhile since I've written anything. A lot has happened. I have a Goddaughter now. Her name is Ariya and she's a year old; that's my girl after having six grandsons. My youngest grandson is ten months old and the oldest is twelve now. They grow so fast. I'm thankful everyday for God's blessings. So if this is your first time visiting my blog I have grandsons with the initials W. P., K. Z., and S. P.

Last month I had KZ1 and WP1 for a week; these are the older boys. I enjoy having them for the week. It's kind of hard to have all four of them at one time or even all six of them. But last August I had five of them for a sleepover, and movies; this was before S.P. was born. It kept me on my toes, but I enjoyed them. This August I only had the older boys, so Nancy and I decided to meet up at Bow Craft and have KZ2 and WP2 spend time with their brothers; WP3 and SP were too young. We had a great time and they LOVE that place!Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-65471585310003262772017-01-23T20:52:00.001-08:002017-01-23T20:52:27.482-08:00It's been a long time . . . I don't know how I forgot about this blog. It's been a whole year and some since my last post. Since then, there's been a wedding, and two more grandsons added to my precious gems.My middle son added another WP to his family, and my youngest son has his first SP. I have a total of six precious gems (grandsons). I am so blessed!Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-70776039052018603632015-09-03T18:25:00.003-07:002015-09-03T18:25:27.168-07:00The thoughts of kids . . . Today, I had KZ2 and we took my sister to the doctor. He's such a loving and happy little guy. He shared with me that he was feisty. I asked him who said that and he said his brother called he that. The things children say!
September 1st is already here, and we back to school is near. My grandsons are visiting me this week because their mom is back to work and soon they will be back in school. It's always a joy to have them with me. KZ2 is four and holding his own when he's playing with his brother. He doesn't let them KZ1 get over on him. I try to let them solve their disputes before I step in, but sometimes the only thing that works is a time out for both of them. We had a great time this past week! Kalahari was a pleasurable and great over-niter. The indoor water park was exciting. The guys were able to go and come with little supervision throughout the area. They really liked that. I would like to go again. I am so thankful to God that I was able to spend this time with them. I pray that we can spend time again like this next year.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-34084789066590464102015-08-05T19:52:00.003-07:002015-08-05T19:52:37.313-07:00Day Three . . . Another busy and full day with WP1 and KZ1. I guess I'm trying to get so much done while they are with me that I'm bushed. They are like the energizer bunny. They keep going and going and going. So far, we have done what I planned to do with them. We did make it to the beach. They really enjoyed themselves. Tomorrow is another big day! We are going to Kalahari Water park in PA. We will be staying overnight. Nothing too big but just a chance to enjoy the water park and not have to drive home until the next day. Well at least this will give me a chance to rest; just a little bit. I'm thanking God for this time and prayerfully asking for traveling mercy again. Today I picked up WP1 and KZ1. They are going to spend the week with me. It's going to be an adventure. So far we visited the MAM; only to find out that they were closed today. I thought we were playing a role in the 39 Clues. Then we went to Eagle Rock Mountain. Neither of the boys had been there before, so that was an interesting adventure. they used their iPads to take pictures. We stopped fir a short pit stop at Nishuane Park; the swing was a welcoming exercise for me. In fact KZ1 asked if I could fit on the swing. I told him that was an insult. He didn't know what that meant so WP1 explained it to him. KZ1 said he didn't mean it like that. All in all we had a rather adventurous time. Our final destination before we went to see WP1's dad was the barber shop. Yes, it was time for that dreaded haircut. I know we are going to have a good time this week. This is only the beginning. Another school year has come and gone. My grandsons are all moving up. WP1 will be a 5th grader, KZ1 will be a 2nd grader, and KZ2 will be moving up at his preschool. Prayerfully this up and coming year WP2 will be going to preschool; and as for WP3 he has a long way to go. God has truly blessed my family. They are all growing into their own personalities. I have a third WP; to be more accurate he's WP3. I am the proud grandma of five beautiful grandsons; each unique and wonderfully made. I haven't stopped to take the time to blog. I've had my grandsons several times during the month of April. I have an overnight guest that I will be taking to school in the morning; and then to Taekwondo after school. They are really growing up so fast. Soon WP3 will be here. his expected delivery date is May 13th. I am so thankful to God for his blessings and I can't wait to see the little guy. KZ1 and KZ2 are doing well. They are both doing well in school. This is the age of the digital native and my grandsons are definitely apart of that age. Today I started out with two of my gems and ended the day with three. My KZ1 and 2 visited me today, and then we went to pick up WP1 from school and take him to Taekwondo. It was a very interesting day. Watching them play games on their iPad. Observing how much KZ2 emulates his big brother. The same thing happens when WP1 and 2 are together. The P's spent some time with me on Friday, April 3rd. I really enjoy them. WP2 is getting so big and he just enjoys being with his big brother. I also had the pleasure of being with WP1 and his dad on Easter Sunday. WP1 and his dad were in our Resurrection Day play. It was truly a please to see them side by side and enjoying it. It's good to spend time with my family. They are all growing up so fast.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-84382659501218468052015-04-02T17:08:00.001-07:002015-04-02T17:08:07.731-07:00WP1's DayI picked him up from school on Wednesday; it's his Taekwondo day. He complained about his ankle again but we still went to class. He had a good session. WP didn't know it but he was staying with me and I was taking him to school on Thursday. The order of my morning was smooth sailing until he told me he didn't have his permission slip, and it was due today. Oh, well grandma to the rescue. After I dropped him off at school I went to his dad's house and got it. I handed it in to his teacher when I picked him up from school. So, I had an opportunity to spend some time with him again. We are still into listening to the 39 Clues audio books. We are listening to number 7. His dad is still not feeling well. He went to church with me and then I took him home. It's amazing , the more things change the more they stay the same. He's growing and still have his moments of remembering what he needs to remember. I guess that's typical of all children; especially boys. Go figure! All in all I enjoy spending time with him.
It snowed today and it wasn't a little dusting. I received a text from my son. He wasn't feeling well. I think he caught a little bug from WP2. Anyway, I picked up WP1 from school and took him to his dad's house. WP1 is a tough cookie. He told me he was trying not to get sick, and even if he didn't feel well he had to go to school. He said he's only missed school during the snow days. He too is tired and in need of rest. The body knows when it needs to rest and if we don't listen it will put us down. So, while I drove WP1 to his dad; he took a much needed rest. We stopped for breakfast at BK. He listened to disk 6 of the 39 Clues: Into the Gauntlet. I've really enjoyed listening to this series. The audio books are so enticing. I don't know what audio books we will listen to when these are over.
He wouldn't stop throwing up. Instead of getting early in the morning. I opted to get him last night. WP1 was in his pajamas, so he came in the house and went right to sleep. WP2 is doing okay. I'm so glad that he is. When I picked him up he was complaining about his right knee bothering him, and he also left his uniform home. So, I mentioned to him that maybe he could go another day. I spoke with his dad and he said it was okay; that's if I wanted to do that. I decided to take him to Taekwondo and see if he could take class without his belt. He really didn't want to go; in fact he teared up because he said his knee was bothering him. I guess I forced him to take the class, but in the end he enjoyed it. Yes, his knee bothered him a little but he had a great time in class.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070340977218956726.post-35972584107454392015-03-16T08:35:00.002-07:002015-03-16T08:35:40.121-07:00Rehearsal 31515WP1 came to church today. He had to be there to practice his part. I love to see him. He's really growing up. He'll be ten years old this year. I'm so thankful to see how he's changing and growing. His confidence is growing more and more. His sparring class was intense. Working on kicks and punches for forty-five minutes was truly a workout. His next day was today, but when I picked him up he wasn't feeling okay. He said he felt out of sorts; not himself. So he took a break today and will go on Friday.Time waits for no one . . .http://www.blogger.com/profile/11635995352748957054noreply@blogger.com0
