WP1

Picked WP1 up this morning from his dad's house. His dad is still not feeling well. He went to church with me and then I took him home. It's amazing , the more things change the more they stay the same. He's growing and still have his moments of remembering what he needs to remember. I guess that's typical of all children; especially boys. Go figure! All in all I enjoy spending time with him.

It's Back!

It's not gone yet. It snowed today and it wasn't a little dusting. I received a text from my son. He wasn't feeling well. I think he caught a little bug from WP2. Anyway, I picked up WP1 from school and took him to his dad's house. WP1 is a tough cookie. He told me he was trying not to get sick, and even if he didn't feel well he had to go to school. He said he's only missed school during the snow days. He too is tired and in need of rest. The body knows when it needs to rest and if we don't listen it will put us down. So, while I drove WP1 to his dad; he took a much needed rest.

Off to School

Since WP1 stayed with me last night I had to get him to school. We stopped for breakfast at BK. He listened to disk 6 of the 39 Clues: Into the Gauntlet. I've really enjoyed listening to this series. The audio books are so enticing. I don't know what audio books we will listen to when these are over.

Last night . . . 31815

I picked up WP1 last night because WP2 had to go to the hospital; emergency. He wouldn't stop throwing up. Instead of getting early in the morning. I opted to get him last night. WP1 was in his pajamas, so he came in the house and went right to sleep. WP2 is doing okay. I'm so glad that he is.

Another Taekwondo Day

Today was my day to pick up WP1 and take him to Taekwondo. When I picked him up he was complaining about his right knee bothering him, and he also left his uniform home. So, I mentioned to him that maybe he could go another day. I spoke with his dad and he said it was okay; that's if I wanted to do that. I decided to take him to Taekwondo and see if he could take class without his belt. He really didn't want to go; in fact he teared up because he said his knee was bothering him. I guess I forced him to take the class, but in the end he enjoyed it. Yes, his knee bothered him a little but he had a great time in class.

Rehearsal 31515

WP1 came to church today. He had to be there to practice his part. I love to see him. He's really growing up. He'll be ten years old this year. I'm so thankful to see how he's changing and growing. His confidence is growing more and more.

WP1 Sparring 3815 & 31115

WP got a good work out on Monday. His sparring class was intense. Working on kicks and punches for forty-five minutes was truly a workout. His next day was today, but when I picked him up he wasn't feeling okay. He said he felt out of sorts; not himself. So he took a break today and will go on Friday.

Both of the WP's 3615

I picked WP1 up from his cousin's house and stopped to buy some chicken at Pathmark. He loves chicken; he's going to turn into a bird. Not long after we got to the house the doorbell rang. It was WP2. He wasn't feeling too good; stomach virus. Anyway . . . he was okay. He's going to the potty more; at least they are taking him every hour. He's so verbal. I can understand him more and more. He ate a little bit of his nuggets and even a chocolate chip cookie. I realize that his journey has truly been on God's time. It humbles you to have to wait and see the miracles of the Lord. I truly thank God for all He has done for WP2 and all He will continue to do for him.

Taekwondo with WP1

Today is my turn to take WP1 to Taekwondo. I hope he's not too stressed out. He's been testing this week. This is an update - no testing due to inclement weather. So he had a great class. In fact I can see his confidence building more  and more each class. During class there was a challenge to grab your opponents whit belt before he grabbed yours, and WP1 did it. He was so proud of himself. In fact he did it twice. The second time it was a tie, but he did it. I was so happy because I could see the confidence in him.

Jesus' House

That's what WP2 calls church; especially his pop pop's church. It was so good to see him, and his compassion for other children. He was so friendly with everyone. One of the little boys was crying because he wanted his mom, and WP2 was so concerned that he went over to him and tried to console him. He was also fascinated by the baby that was in church. He is such a gem and dear to my heart. All of my grandsons are my gems. I love them dearly.
